The Concept of Sai Educare
The word educate comes from the word ‘educare' (to bring out , W. W. Skeat Etymological Dictionary). It acknowledges that there is, within each of us, that which knows. The art of the good teacher is to draw this from the student; knowing that the teacher does not pour knowledge into the student but
awakens and draws it from the student.
It is a delight to visit Sai Schools in various countries around the world and see the light in the eyes of the student, or to witness the dawn of realisation as the knowledge within the teacher connects with that of the student.
